Bill Bauer-Coach of Marlins 25+ years has had several YMCA Zones, National qualifiers, Coached National Champion, Many of his swimmers have gone on to swim in various collegiate institutions including but not limited to: Purdue University, Ohio University,Dennison University, Air Force Acadmey, University of Dayton, Ohio Weslyan, Wooster, Ohio Northern, Mt. Union, Miami of Ohio, Eastern Michigan, etc. Several Swimmers were ranked National Top 16 Y and USS swimmers. Bill also
used to be the Head Coach of Marietta High School Swim Team.

Walt Teer - Swam with the Merced Skimmers in Merced, California. Also swam and played Water Polo at Moreno Valley High School as well as swam competitively with The USA swimming club called the Moreno Valley Marlins and the Riverside Aquatics in Southern California. He has coaching experience throughout his career including a short stint at Marietta YMCA. Walt is owner of an oilfield business in 14 states and attended college at Delta State University & The University of Nebraska.
Courtenay Halliday - swam as an age grouper at Bryan Swim Club. Swam in College at Ohio Wesleyan where she was an All-American several times over. She also was a high School Swim Coach at Sandusky High School. Courtenay went has a BS in Education from Ohio Wesleyan and an MS from Marietta College she is currently a teacher in Marietta City Schools (Will be Coaching the Junior Level and 8-Under swimmers).

Also played water polo for Milford High school.

She taught swim lessons public and private for all age groups and levels for 6 years.
This is her 3rd year with the Marlin program.
She coached a summer league this past summer and coached a winter team last winter and will do so again this winter. Both teams were 8 and under but her main focus was the 10 to 12 year olds..
