Our YMCA Fitness Center features 17 Nautilus machines, Treadmills,
Stairmasters, Star Trac & Cybex Bicycles, Lifecycles, Nordic
Tracs, Rowers, Elliptical Fitness Cross Trainers, Precor Stretch
Trainer and a free weight area. Participants are required to schedule
an orientation appointment at the Fitness Center desk. FREE
to Full Members!
Weight
Training Center
Our Weight Training Center features a selection of dumbbells,
barbells, benches, cable crossover, Smith and leg press machines.
To ensure member safety, orientation appointments to basic free
weight exercises are available. FREE to Full

Fitness Evaluation
Want know how fit you really are? Let us do a fitness test on
you. By appointment, we take your B/P, body fat, resting heart
rate, aerobic heart rate, flexibility, sit-up test, and strength
test. For more information stop by or call the YMCA.

Start
If you are new to exercise, have a difficult time sticking with
an exercise program, or want to make a lasting lifestyle change,
then Fit Start is designed specifically for you. Fit Start is
a 12 week structured program that includes your own YMCA Fit Start
Counselor. You make a 12 week commitment to exercise three times
a week. Exercise is added in small increments to enhance success.
Also added to this great program is a Body Mass Index at the start
of your program and when you've completed the program.
To get started simply schedule an appointment at the the YMCA
Fitness Center.

Training
A Personal Trainer is
an experienced fitness professional in many avenues of exercise
training and healthy living. The Trainer provides members with
the know, direction, feed back and encouragement. Inquire at the
Member Services Desk or Fitness Center Desk.

Nutrition
Coach
A YMCA
Nutrition Coach will be available to members on a one-on-one basis
to provide appropriate relevant advice on a balanced diet, reasonable
calorie and fat intake, assistance in developing a personalized
food intake chart and professional referrals. For more information

Body Mass Index
We will now be offering
to our members a computerized Body Mass Index. This can tell you
your weight, body fat, lean muscle mass, water, and much, much
more. This is the best tool for getting healthy.
Pilates
on the Ball
Pilates on the ball
is an advanced pilates technique that requires an understanding
of mat pilates and a highly developed sense of balance. From this
class participants will strengthen muscles, restore balance, improve
flexibility, and reduce stress and fatigue. This class is taught
by Barb Rhoads.
